Versacarry Compound OWB Holster
I will admit, there is something about the Versacarry Compound OWB Holster that just screams my name. Is the the craftsmanship? Maybe the design? Or just how it fits. Reguardless, I really like the Versacarry Compound OWB Holster.
Don’t get me wrong, there is a versatility to Kydex, but leather is just classic. That is the nice thing about the Compound, It is a hybrid holster but not like you are used to. There is a Kydex outer shell, but it is sandwiched between leather. And then there are “windows” in the leather to show off the Kydex on the outside.

The Compound Holster gives you all the advantages of leather and Kydex but still is soft against the finish of your gun. I make no effort to hide my liking of OWB carry (even though I am starting to enjoy IWB carry ). But I like some style in my holster even though it will not be seen. It just feels good to have a cool-looking holster.
Versacarry makes their holsters in Texas (they would be better if they were made in Montana but I am partial in that subject). My holster is distressed brown but you can get it in black too. Though the black would not show off the Kydex as well.
Although Versacarry has “generic” sizes for holsters the Sig P365 is a specific size all to its own. Since I carry a P365 I kind of like it that my holster is special if you don’t mind me stroking my ego a little.
The quality of this holster is what I expect from Versacarry. No visible problems with the stitching and the layers of leather and Kydex mesh nicely together.
This is another great job by Versacarry. You should give their products a try, you won’t be disappointed.
